Peter dug through some records recently and found an article on the success of VK3ER/p in the various field day operations over the last 20 years.

PREMIER FIELD DAY CONTEST STATION IN THE 21st CENTURY

VK3ER/p

The club has had a long tradition of participation in field day activities since its beginnings in the 1960’s.  Many notable successes were achieved during that time.

After the first 20 years of the 21st century, the club has had an unparalleled success rate as a field day portable station.

The following table outlines the continual success that the club station VK3ER/p has had since 2001.

The two main operating areas over the last 20 years have been Mt Cowley QF11WK38DN in the Otway Ranges   and   McLauglin’s Lookout  QF22DM15BA in the Wombat State Forest.
