| March 27-28 SSB (Last full weekend in March) May 29-30 CW- (Last full weekend in May) CQ World Wide DX Contest | The CQ WPX is the 2nd largest on the contest calendar and because prefix multipliers are abundant in the USA and JA, it is a great contest for VKs. It is much easier to score big than the CQ WW where proximity to Europe and the West Indies is paramount. A maximum of 36 hrs of operation and the Tribander/Wires category make it ideal for suburban stations. Contacts on 40m/80m and 160m score double and you can work VK for points too.
