EchoLink
EchoLink is software which allows Amateur Radio stations
to communicate with one another over the Internet, using
voice-over-IP (VoIP) technology. The program allows
worldwide connections to be made between stations, from
computer to station, or from computer to computer. Read

Fitting RG174/178 Co-ax to RFI Antenna Base
The project was to use RG174 or RG178 coax with a standard
UHF connector, designed for RG58 coax. The connector
can be used in fitting 2M/70cm antenna in a mobile environment.
The RFI connector can be attached to a roof rack. The
RG174 cable is easier to bring into the cabin (eg through
door seals or small hole in gutter etc) than the larger
RG58 coax. Read
