2010 Scoresby Steamfest
The 2010 Scoresby Steamfest, run by the Melbourne Steam Traction Engine Club, is on again this year over the Labour Day weekend the 6th, 7th and 8th of March. It's held at the clubs grounds located at the National Steam Centre, 1200 Ferntree Gully Rd Scoresby.

EMDRC - White Elephant Sale
Once again the clubs main fundraiser is on again, Sunday 14th March. At the Great Ryrie Primary School, Heathmont. Doors open 10:30. Hundreds of components, pre-loved radios, test gear, computers, software and commercial displays.

John Moyle Memorial Field Day JMMFD
Over the weekend 20th & 21st March 2010 is the John Moyle Memorial Field Day contest. Our club call VK3ER will be activated from Mt. Cowley in the Otway Ranges near Lorne on the Great Ocean Road.
At this stage some of the team will travel to Mount Cowley on the Friday and set up a portable station capable of operating on bands from 6m - 23cm. If there are members interested in attending and operating on HF please let one of the team members know soon.

Meeting Venues
 |
Main Monthly Meetings are held on the first Friday of each month (excepting
January and December) in the Willis Room
of the City of Whitehorse, Civic Centre, Whitehorse
Rd Nunawading. Meetings begin promptly
at 8:00 pm and generally include
a guest speaker or some other form of organised
activity. Coffee, tea and biscuits are available
at the conclusion of each meeting. |

On the third Friday of each month a Coffee
Shop Meeting is held in the EMDRC
Inc. Club Rooms, Milpara Scout Hall,
13A McCubbin St. Burwood. These
meetings are quite informal and generally
involve discussions of a project or technical
nature, meeting starts 8:00 pm.
Coffee, tea and biscuits are also available
at this meeting. |
